My daily indie maker routine

People ask me all the time: “Mattia, how do you stay so productive while building products, writing, posting, and spiraling daily?”

Well, the truth is… discipline.

Here’s a breakdown of my daily routine. Feel free to copy it if you enjoy oscillating between “crushing it” and “questioning all your life choices.”

2:45am — wake up, whisper “build” three times into the void
3:00am — gallon of espresso, two cold showers, one Stripe dashboard refresh
3:30am — meditate on churn, journal gratitude for error logs
4:00am — write 7 landing page variations no one will ever see
4:30am — inject MRR directly into bloodstream, scream “validate faster”
5:00am — cold outreach to my own email list (A/B testing authenticity)
5:30am — 10km run while listening to indie hacker podcasts on 3x speed
6:00am — ice bath, fire shower, mild existential crisis
6:30am — “quick fix” that turns into full refactor
7:00am — breakfast: protein, caffeine, despair
7:30am — publish feature no one asked for
8:00am — post on Threads: “shipping > thinking”
8:05am — check engagement every 12 seconds
9:00am — reflection time (aka refreshing dashboard again)
9:30am — burnout prevention: 30-second nap
10:00am — brainstorm next project to avoid finishing current one

Been following this for years.

I’m 36 and feel 67.

Wouldn’t let anyone in the world disrupt this routine.

Conclusion

If you think I was dead serious, well, it’s not. Things are always exaggerated on the outside.

If you ever feel unproductive, remember: you’re probably doing fine!

You don’t need to wake up at 2:45 AM.

You just need to keep building. And maybe sleep 😉
