Being a generalist makes me finally feel good

I’m 35.

I’m a generalist.

And for the first time, I feel FREE.

Not being “vertical” felt like a curse for most of my life.

Everyone told me to specialize, yet…

  • I code, but I’m not a developer.
  • I write copy, but I’m not a copywriter.
  • I create visuals, but I’m not a graphic designer.
  • I do marketing, but I’m not the best marketer in town.

For years, that made me feel wrong and broken. Like, I didn’t fit anywhere.

But now that I’ve built two apps and landed a paid collab as a Product Manager, everything has come full circle.

I code. I write. I design. I market.

I build.

And I’m finally at peace with my work.
